About us
We work to promote physical and personal development through teaching, training and community based on the Alexander Technique, yoga, movement, dance and therapy.
VIRKELIG is organized around the inner calling for human development
We welcome the call in all its forms: physical, psychological and symbolic.
We are driven by a fundamental, experiential belief that it is possible - and indeed intended - for people to evolve towards being in authentic alignment with their inner reality.
It is a process without end; an ever-possible, lifelong movement towards meaning, depth and fullness.
Jeppe Juhl Christensen
Born in 1976. Graduated with a Master of Arts in Political Science, specializing in Marxist economic criticism. Yoga teacher since 2001. Alexander Technique teacher since 2009.
On a daily basis, he runs the yoga school on Tagensvej and leads the 3-year Alexander Technique teacher training. He has a degree in imago relationship therapy and is a senior candidate at the Jung Institute. The different approaches are all connected by a desire to help people become better and more real versions of themselves. And by an understanding that this is only possible by working deeply and patiently.
He gives individual sessions, teaches groups and trains teachers. He also offers couples therapy and Jungian psychotherapy at (reduced) graduate rates.

Anne Helms
Born in 1977. Trained as a molecular biologist. Has practiced yoga for 25 years - and taught since 2017. Discovered Alexander Technique in 2015 and hasn't looked back since. Became a certified Alexander Technique teacher in 2021.
Anne teaches yoga and the Alexander Technique.
She enjoys both the physical, direct and muscular approach, and the more gentle, slow and internal one.
Anne works from the thesis that deep change often has its origins in pain, but that lasting change must be rooted in pleasure.

Ida Wraber
I am a qualified Alexander Technique teacher (2024)
In addition, I am a civil engineer with almost 15 years in the private business world - and a mother of 3. The encounter with the Alexander Technique was a wonderful experience for me. Exploring and rediscovering the deep and natural contact with myself, with other people and with the world is the most beautiful gift. I look forward every day to sharing these kinds of experiences with students, course participants, colleagues, friends and anyone else who may cross my path. Working with the Alexander Technique has given me a new opportunity to create a life with more balance - where I can juggle family, work and myself based on a new physical and emotional spaciousness and calm. Learning to FEEL MORE is a slow but very rewarding process - and has given my life new depth and clarity.
