RENT OUR SPACE
Our space is located on two floors of a charming old button factory, on a small dead-end sidestreet to Tagensvej between Hamletsgade and Baldersgade. On the top floor you will find our large yoga studio with an adjacent kitchenette. On the lower floor we have therapy rooms, a kitchenette and toilets. On a daily basis the premises houses our yoga school and Alexander Technique school, as well as a handful of regular therapists. We also offer our rooms and facilities as short-term rentals to both groups and individuals. For more information contact Sarah at sarah@virkelig.nu.
The ambient studio space is privately located on the top floor with is own adjacent kitchenette. The open floor space is app. 7 x 13 meters, in addition to a lounge-corner, the adjacent kitchenette/changing room and entrance with space to hang coats and leave shoes. Beautifully decorated and enjoys wonderful natural light from the sky-light windows.
Excellent for teaching, yoga, workshops, movement, receptions, cacao-ceremonies, concerts and more. The possibilities are abundant! Equipped with yoga mats, meditation cushions, mattresses. Stereo system. Chairs and tables. Flip-over. Tableware for 30 people.
THERAPY ROOMS
Our two therapy rooms of about 18 and 10 square meters, are cosy and tranquil. Large windows overlooking the small side street and courtyard respectively. Equipped with massage table, stools and folding mattress. Suitable for all kinds of body-work and therapy. Also suitable for smaller groups.

Conditions
Conditions for booking and cancellations
Deposit of 25% of the total rental price (or min. DKK 500) is paid upon booking. The deposit is non refundable. The remaining amount is paid no later than 3 weeks before the first rental day. Cancellation can be made up to 3 weeks before the first rental day.
*In case COVID restrictions make it illegal to go through with your event, you can get a full refund (also of the deposit) or you can transfer your reservation to a different date free of charge.
Liability
The renter has full responsibility for the persons (clients, employees, guests, etc.) who enter the premises on the renters initiative.
The renter is liable for any damage to the rented, including equipment, furnishings etc.
The renter may not sublet to a third party.
The space must be returned in the same condition as it was received.
Oil policy (applies to everyone who rents the space for activities that include the use of oil)
Unfortunately, we have had some bad experiences with oil in connection with tantra workshops, where oil has been smeared all over the place and pillows and mattress covers and blankets have gotten permanently stained. Therefore we have introduced an oil and cleaning policy:
- Use of oil is permitted only by prior arrangement.
- Please bring your own textiles to use in connection with oil.
- Under no circumstances should oil come in contact with our textiles and yoga equipment.
Cleaning in connection with the use of oil:
- Wash the floor in the studio either with the large white mop and universal cleaning or with a floor cloth.
- Wash all surfaces that may have been in contact with oil. Pay special attention around door handles.
- Clean the toilets if they have been used in connection with oil.
We provide cleaning supplies. If the cleaning is not satisfactory, we will send an extra bill.
